Gifting
Choose gifting that goes further
Pick up to three things for guests to give to. Each guest splits their own gift between them. Coming without a gift is always fine.
Only you see who gave and how much. Guests never see each other's gifts.
The one thing they really want
Friends pool their gifts toward the bike, the scooter or the art set your child has been asking for. One great present beats a pile of small ones.
- Less clutter, and nothing new to find room for
- No doubles, and no guessing what to buy
- You see how close you are. Guests never see each other's gifts
They think carefully about the big present they would like, something they would keep and look after.
Let your child pick who to give to
Add a charity, school, club or community group as one of the choices, and let your child help pick it.
- Search for real charities and groups, or invite yours to join
- Friends give toward it together, so small gifts add up
- Some groups welcome volunteers, so it can be a first step into your local community
Let them experience the gift of giving and the importance of giving back.
These group names are made up. No real group has agreed to appear here.

What time can do for a fund
IllustrationAn illustration only, not a forecast or advice. It assumes the same growth every year with no fees or tax. Real results vary, can be lower, and money can go down as well as up.
A head start for later in life
Guests can put part of their gift toward your child's future. We pay it to you, and you put it into a savings account or junior investment fund for them.
- The earlier it's set aside, the longer it has to build
- Paid to you, so you choose the account
- Uni fees
- A first car
- A house deposit
- A wedding
- A big trip
Teach them the value of saving for their future, how money invested early has longer to grow.
We don't hold the money or give financial advice. You choose the account.
All year round
Keep the giving going
A party is one day. Keep your child's gift link open and let grandparents, aunties and friends give whenever they like: pocket money, Christmas, the next big thing.
- One link, shared in the family group
- Guests still never see what anyone else gave
- You choose when to pay it out
A 12-month pass is $40, or $30 if you start at the party. One card payment, no auto-renew. See the price and what is included.
Their pot builds all year, toward the bike, a cause or their future.
How it works
From first gift to thank you
- 1
Set up the link
Make a party invite, then choose up to three things guests can give to. It takes about five minutes.
- 2
Share it anywhere
Post it in the class chat, the family group or on the invite. Guests reply and give on their phone, with no app and no account.
- 3
Say thanks
See who gave, thank each guest in one tap, then tell your child what it made possible.

Be one of the choices
When a family adds your group to their party, guests can give to you. It's free, and we take nothing from what guests give you.
Questions
Common questions
Where does the money go?
To the child's parent. Stripe, a licensed payments company, collects each gift and pays the parent's bank once, a few days after gifting closes. Shareish never holds the money.
What does it cost?
Making an invitation is free. There are two fees, and both are shown before anyone pays. Each guest who gives pays a service fee on top of their gift. The parent pays a party fee, taken from the gifts as they arrive: $7 for 1 to 10, $11 for 11 to 20, $15 for 21 or more guests who give. No gifts, no party fee. It's how Shareish earns money. If a parent keeps the gift link open for a year, there is also an optional 12-month pass (see "What is the 12-month pass?").
Who can see the party page?
Only people with the link. The page is hidden from search engines, and the street address shows only after someone replies that they're coming.
What if I can't give, or only want to come?
That's fine. Replying and giving are separate steps, and "coming, no gift" is a normal choice. Nobody asks why.
